CARDAS, Anthony James (Tony)
In St. Catharines, on Tuesday December 28, 2017, just shy of his 90th birthday. Lovingly remembered by family and friends. Pre-deceased by his wife Evelyn, beloved father to Penelope and Tony (Robyn) proud grandfather of Marshall, Brett and Jarod and loving partner of Gail. Tony will be remembered as proprietor of Central Radio in St. Catharines, which he ran for over 45 years. But he will be best remembered for his love of dry martinis, his wonderful sense of humour and his talent for story telling. He was an amazing man of heart, humour and integrity. As per Tony’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, January 6, from 1-4 at the Port Dalhousie Legion, 57 Lakeport Road. All are welcome to share in light refreshments and memories. Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 52 Scott Street West, St. Catharines (between Ontario Street & South Service Road), 289-362-1144.
