McNARRY, Irene (nee Nowacki)
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in her 74th year. Predeceased by her husband James (June 28, 2017) for over 50 years. Cherished mother of Colleen and her husband Alan Wilson, Mike and his wife Carolyn McNarry and James Jr. Dear grandmother of Kyle her treasure and Carly her precious and Brayden her joy. Dear sister of Terry and Tim Moses, Mary and Larry Smith and Jan and Fran Nowacki. Irene retired from the St. Catharines Standard after many years of service and cherished the time she had with her children and grandchildren as her family was everything to her. She enjoyed gardening and the friendships she made while at Creek Side Estates. In keeping with Irene’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be held at Creek Side Estate Event Hall, 23 Four Mile Creek Rd. St. Davids on Monday, September 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations may be made to The Walker Family Cancer Center. Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 52 Scott Street West, St. Catharines (between Ontario Street & South Service Road), 289-362-1144.
