Peacefully surrounded by her family, at her home, Royal Henley Retirement Community, on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 87 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Noel (1996) for 46 years. Loving Mom of Linda and her husband Andrew Hill and the late Kimberley MacDonald (2003) (John MacDonald). Proud Nanna of Erin (Jamie Katzman), Ian Lesynski and Amanda MacDonald (Richard Winger) and the late Lindsay MacDonald (2017); Nanna 2 of Jemma, Avery, Seth, Leo, Katelyn, Kayleigh and Reese. Joyce was a special aunt of Judith and her husband Ron Hill and she’ll be sadly missed by Synthia. She was a seamstress at Gary Waters Men’s Wear prior to her retirement. A memorial tribute by Joyce’s Sorority will be take place at 10:40 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am at St. Columba Anglican Church, 7 St. Columba Drive, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ALS-Niagara would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 52 Scott Street West, St. Catharines (between Ontario Street & South Service Road), 289-362-1144.
