NORMAN, Alvin “Pappy”
It is with great sadness the family of Alvin announce his passing on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (nee Fox), on July 16, 2007. He leaves behind his children; Keith, Brenda (John) Clayton and Gail (Stephen Robbins). Proud grandfather of Ryan (Nitcha) Saigal, Brandalynn (Jake) and Jedediah (Elysa) deRuyte, Taylor, Jordan (Sara), Aaron (Krystal) and Travis Robbins; great-grandfather of Decklyn, Tegan, Tobias, Bentley, Ryker and Landon. He was employed at Maple Leaf Mills (ADM) retiring after 49 + years of service. He was a volunteer firefighter for 29 years in Wainfleet and he served as a director on the Wainfleet Fall Fair for over 40 years. He was laid to rest in a private family graveside service on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Zion Cemetery in Wainfleet.
