At her residence, on Tuesday May 2, 2023, Alyssa passed away at 19 years of age. Beloved daughter of Nicole Joseph. Daughter of the late Chad Matheson and step-daughter of Keri Matheson. Loved sister of Ezra Matheson, Alexander Joseph-Velasquez and Carter Matheson. Cherished granddaughter of Gary and Betty Matheson and Earl Joseph and Carol Kuijer. Great-granddaughter of Joyce Stanford and Raymond and Elaine Daniel. Dear niece of Michael and Diane Matheson, Joel and Holly Matheson and Michelle Joseph. Sadly missed by her cousins Emily, Trent, Braelyn and Kayden and many other extended family and friends. Some of the things Alyssa enjoyed most were art, writing and music. Her vibrant personality will be forever missed at all family gatherings. Donations to Addictions and Mental Health Ontario would be appreciated by the family. In keeping with Alyssa’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
