Peacefully, at her residence, on Thursday June 2, 2022, Carol Sawchuk passed away at the age of 79. Beloved wife of George for 59 years. Loved mother of Michael, Charlene and the late Brenda. Sadly missed by grandchildren Sarah (Drew Wellman), Nathan and Justin Sawchuk. Cherished great-grandmother of Aidan, Joshua, Hope and Khloe. Predeceased by her sister Joy Carbone. Predeceased by parents Roy and Edith Rymer. Carol was passionate about gardening and could knit or crochet just about anything. Special thank you to all the nurses and PSWs who assisted in her care. Donations to the Niagara Health System-Walker Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
