DAVIS, Celia
Celia Davis, age 73, peacefully passed away on Sunday January 30 at St Catharines General Hospital with her step-daughter, Patricia, and sister, Kearen, by her side after a long 9 year fight with pulmonary fibrosis.
Loving step mother to Patricia, dear grandmother to Tyler (Ashley ), Jamie (Nicole ), and great- grandmother to Karson. Celia is survived by her Mom, Patricia Pester, siblings; Kearen Pfender (Robert) and Rick Pester (Noreen), along with several nieces and nephews. Celia is predeceased by her loving partner, Leonard, her father, John, and sister, Ann. Celia will be missed by her family and friends and will be remembered by her constant knitting and her hugs. She always gave the best hugs! We would like to thank all the Dr’s and Nurses involved in her care. Patricia and family would like to send out a special thank you to family friends, Jennifer Mott and Christina Leblanc, for their constant involvement and care for Celia, along with volunteers, Bob and Mary, from Meals on Wheels who always made Celia feel special.
A small family gathering will take place on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, family is asking for donations in Celia's name be made to Meals on Wheels in St. Catharines.
