Surrounded by the love of his family, Fred passed away peacefully on April 23, 2023. Beloved husband and best friend of Sheila. Dearly loved father of Michelle (Rob), Jeff (Brenda) and Greg. Proud Papa of his amazing grandchildren; Connor and Justin Darnbrough, Valerie, Emily and Bobby Haynes. Survived by his sister Marilyn (Ed) and predeceased by his sister Barb. He will be fondly remembered by his in-laws, nieces and nephews. Fred enjoyed spending time at his cottage with his family. He retired from GM in 1998 after 34 years of service. As per Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life has taken place. We will love and miss you always. Special thanks to the nurses, doctors, Palliative Care Team, especially the Palliative Care EMS who went above and beyond with their care. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society or charity of your choice.
