MUIRHEAD, Diane Marylyn (nee Gibson)
After dealing with Dementia for several years Diane died at Henley House on April 10, 2021 at 86 years of age. Much loved wife of William “Bill” for over 65 years. Loved mother of David (Margaret), Paul (Jaye) and Janet (Matt) Bullinger. Grandmother to Christopher (Lauren), Jennifer (Nick) Ceschia, Lauren, Ian (Kiera), Megan, Abigail, Thomas (Jacquie) Bullinger and Nick Bullinger. Very Proud Great Grandmother of Jillian, Zachary and Owen Ceschia. Diane graduated from The Atkinson School of Nursing at Toronto Western Hospital in 1955. She worked as an R.N. in Belleville, Toronto, Sault Ste Marie and St. Catharines. She was the Director of Care and then the Administrator of the Extendicare Nursing Home in St. Catharines for several years. She enjoyed going to Brock University for their series of concerts and to the Shaw Festival. Diane enjoyed the family cottage in the Kawarthas for many years watching all the children growing up and having a great summer. The family would like to give much “Thanks” to all the Staff at Henley House for their ongoing and high standard of care for Diane. It is much appreciated. In honouring Diane’s wishes a private family service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to Church of The Transfiguration or the Alzheimer Society of Niagara would be appreciated.
