Reverend Don Powell, 84, passed away on September 14th, 2022 from Pancreatic
Cancer at his residence in Fonthill. Predeceased by his loving wife Virginia (nee Nash).
Beloved father of Scott (Kamla), Mark and Laura (Scott). Cherished Grandfather of
Darshana, Daanvir, Kathryn, Sarah, Nash and Sophia. Lovingly remembered by brothers
Ken, Harvey (Betty), Bob (Anne-Marie) and the late Murray (the late Heather); brothers in law Gord (Patti) and Doug (Cindy); as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Thank you to the
caring staff at Lookout Ridge. A Memorial Service for both Don and Ginny will take place at the Church of the Transfiguration (320 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines) on Tuesday September 27, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. followed by a reception in the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to McMaster University or PWRDF in his memory would be appreciated by the family. In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
