PURCER, Donald Francis
With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Dad and Papa on April 23, 2021 in his 89th year. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Joanne (Jo), in 2002, and his three brothers and two sisters, he is the last of his era. Adored Dad of Dawn (Bob), Mark (Laurie), Terri Jo (Kevin) and David. Cherished Papa of Karen (Brandon) Nick (Brooke) Taylor (Ian), Ryan, Elliot, Blake, William, Hope & Faith. Also a loving uncle to many nieces, nephews and a friend to so many. Coming from a broken home in his childhood and reuniting as an adult with his siblings finally, was such a great joy. He worked very hard to provide for his family he was not boastful, just a very simple honest man. His greatest legacy is the love he had for his family. Together again with our Mom, brings us such great comfort, to let him go, as he missed her every day.
Due to COVID we will hold a Celebration of his life at a later date, at his home.
So often in the calm of day
Or in life's hectic pace,
A word or sound will catch our hearts,
And bring to mind your face,
You gave us many things in life,
Things both great and small,
But most of all you gave us love,
The greatest gift of all.
Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through,
We will always love and remember you.
