Frank passed away quietly at NHS-St. Catharines on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 86 years of age. He was the dearly loved husband of Miriam (nee Borkovich) for 59 years and wonderful father of Alexandra, and her husband Carlos DeSousa. Loving Grandpa of Chantal and Tyler. Frank will be missed by Miriam’s family: John (Gail Christie) and Blanche Borkovich, Brad and the late Joan Bradbury along with his nieces and nephews: Stephen & Leonard Bonnet, Dean Moore, Victoria Richard, Joseph, Benjamin & Jane Borkovich and their families. Born in Meadow Lake, Sask., he was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Josephine (nee Laboissiere) and his siblings, Patricia Bonnet and Lawrence. Frank worked for the Civil Service in the Comptroller of the Treasury Office, then the Dept of Public Works for 36 years retiring in 1989. In 2000, Frank received a medal from the Mayor of Nepean recognizing his many hours of volunteer work for The Nepean Seniors. He worked on administration and The Senior’s Curling Club, in his free time he enjoyed curling, golfing and travelling through the US, Caribbean and Europe with Miriam. He had a terrific Jazz Collection. In honouring Frank’s wishes, a private family service has taken place. Memorial donations to Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated.
