WOODS, Frederick “Fred”
February 11, 1931 - May 11, 2022

Peacefully, on Wednesday, May11th, 2022 at the age of 91. Cherished father of Brian, Geoffrey, Pamela (Nick) and Nigel (Jill). Beloved Grandad of Ashley (Bill), Abigail (Len), Emily (Dave), Mathew, Gareth, Hanna (Aleks), Cameron and Devon. Great-Grandad of Maddox, Emelia, Wyatt, Elijah and Kai. He is survived by his sisters: Olive and Mary and sister-in-law, Kathleen. He is lovingly remembered by his nieces: Barb and Kathy. Fred loved to work with his hands, he was an avid gardener and received several Trillium awards for his beautiful gardens. He was also a very talented carpenter and mechanic. Everything he did was done with love and patience. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Fred was predeceased by his wonderful wife and soul mate, Dorothy. They are finally together again. A funeral service and celebration of life will be taking place at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Grimsby at 11 am on Saturday, May 28th, 2022. All are welcome.
