HUGAR, Gary George,
After a sudden but brief illness, Gary passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023 in his 76th year. Beloved brother of Marilyn Dawdy. Adored uncle of Christine (Franco) Mastromatteo, Michael Hugar, Matthew Hugar, Todd (Eryn) Dawdy, Aaron (Mara) Dawdy and Chad Dawdy. Lovingly remembered by his great nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his parents Alexander (1991) and Mary (2019), his twin brothers Roger (2020) and Ronald (2022) and his brother-in-law Terry Dawdy (2014) Gary was a sports enthusiast who knew every stat for every team he followed. He had a remarkable memory and could recall names and dates and other historical information that no one else in the family could remember, even in his last hours. Gary was a wonderful caregiver to his mother Mary in her final years, allowing her to remain at home until her passing. In the end, Gary accepted his fate and made the family laugh by saying “Okay, let’s wrap this up!” Rest In Peace Uncle Gary. In honouring Gary’s wishes cremation has taken place.
