It is with broken hearts that we announce Gary’s passing on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the age of 79 after a courageous battle with cancer. Husband of the late Eileen “Penny” Smith, son of the late Robert and Vera Smith and brother of Miriam. He leaves behind his children; Kelly (Dan) Carfagnini, Sara (Jeremy) Bechard, Amy Prescott and Michael (Tricia) Smith. Grandfather of Claire, Lauren, Zachary and Jacob. He will be sadly missed by his dear friends and best bud, Motley. In honouring Gary’s wishes cremation has taken place and he encouraged his dear family and friends to celebrate his life privately during the warm months of summer.
