It is with great sadness we announce the passing of George Beales, peacefully with his wife by his side at Greater Niagara Hospital, on March 18th, 2021, at 82 years of age. Beloved husband of Barb Swart-Beales, cherished father of Shawn Cooper (Kim), the late Becky (Brian), proud Papa of Ethan Cooper, Holly and Megan White, Great Papa of Elijah White, loving Stepfather of the late Lisa White, and the late Mark White, and dear brother of Bob (Flo), Len (Margie), and late Millie Bennet (Sid). Fondly remembered by his cousin Jimmy Foote (Karen), nieces, nephews, and so many other family and friends George had been enjoying many years of retirement from General Motors, he spent summers in the Kawarthas and winters in Myrtle Beach. The family would especially like to thank all of the staff in the ICU Unit at Greater Niagara General Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to George. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date when it is safe to gather. Memorial donations to Niagara Health Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
