RINGSTEAD, Ghislaine Lise Marie (nee Larose)
November 30, 1940 - November 25, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Ghislaine, in St. Catharines in her 81st year, on Friday, November 25th ,2022. By her side were her son, Brian, his wife Holly Pontello, her precious granddaughter, Whitney and her husband Cory Goulet, and her cherished grandsons, Chad (Chelsey Rawlik) and Jacob Ringstead. Beloved wife of the late Ken Ringstead (2021). Predeceased by her son, Kevin, (1992). The light of her life for 7 years came from her adorable great-granddaughter, Grace Goulet. Ghislaine leaves her love and awesome memories with all her family members, relatives and friends. Also left to mourn are her sisters-in-law, Freda Larose (Guy) and Karen Ringstead-Taylor (Phil).
Ghislaine was extremely grateful for the emotional and medical support she received from her Registered Nurse Practitioner Rosanna Furletti in Timmins and the support and medical services from NHS-The Walker Family Cancer Centre, ParaMed and the Palliative care team, home based services, and support of professionals.
Visitation will begin at 10 am followed by a Service at 12 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Miron Wilson Funeral Home, 150 Balsam Street South, Timmins, 705-264-4444. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to NHS-Walker Family Cancer Centre in St. Catharines where Ghislaine received the utmost care and compassion.
