Obituary for Herbert Ervin Oskar "Herb" Bachert

August 16, 1931 – February 10, 2022
It is with great sadness that the Bachert family announces the passing of Herbert Bachert at the strong age of 90. Giving, and kind-hearted, he will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his son Michael & Romy and daughter Beth-Ann & Craig. A creative man of kindness, intelligence, humour and a keen sense of adventure, there was nothing he couldn't do when he set his mind to it. He taught by doing. He taught us many values in life that we will forever cherish. We are truly blessed! Rest in peace dad. 💞🙏 Forever remembered and sadly missed by his grandchildren, Cory, Aurora, great grandson Lachlan, Ashley, Jade, Noah and Angel Cole (2003). A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held for Herbert. He will be laid to rest with his late wife Effie (2015) at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold.
