HENRY, Janet Letitia (nee Craig)
Peacefully on March 18, 2023 in Fort Erie, in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Murray, her siblings: Mary Campbell (Don), Joseph Craig (Dorothy) and John Craig
(Margaret). Dear Mom of David (Helen), Patricia Rogers (Peter) and Cara (Roland). Loved grandmother of Donna Thate, Jennifer Bowley and Marston Muth. Also remembered by her eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Especially loved aunt of Donna and Robert Johnston.
Janet was born in Willoughby Township to Joseph and Mary Craig. She grew up in Chippawa and moved to Niagara Falls upon her marriage to Murray.
Volunteering was an important part of her life. She was a member of Niagara Women's Club for 40 years and a lifetime member of Niagara Falls Robert Burns Club and the Scottish Clans. For many years she was a Girl Guide leader with 9th Stamford Guides. In later years she volunteered at the Douglas Heights Senior Centre and the Canadian Diabetes Association.
Cremation has taken place, private burial will be held at a later date

In honouring Janet’s wishes cremation had taken place to be followed by a private family interment service.
