Courageously, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, on Tuesday March 23, 2021, Jerry passed away at 76 years of age. Commanding Officer (father) of Paul (Michelle) and Mark (Sherri). Cherished grandfather of Kyle and Danielle. Dear brother of Anne and Walter. Predeceased by his parents Paul (1992) and Sophia (2012). Sadly missed by many extended family and friends, including those from his youth in the Grimsby area. Jerry was a proud Major (retired) of the Canadian Forces 23rd Service Battalion (31 Brigade) with a Canadian Forces Decoration. Special thanks to the staff of St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke for Jerry’s care over the past three years. Due to Covid protocols, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In honouring Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
