Peacefully, with the love of her family in her heart, Joanne Warriner passed away on May 20th, 2022, at the grand age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John Edward Warriner. Joanne is survived by her children Catherine Rempel (Peter), Susan Zavadil (Karel), Sandra Lang (Brian) and Thomas Baxter (Judy) as well as nine grandchildren, Ian, Robyn, Adam, Scott, Samantha, Mathew, Tao, Gemma, and Jacob. She was also blessed with four great grand children and many nieces and nephews. She was a lover of music, family, and beauty in all she did. Joanne was a graduate from the Mack School of Nursing in St. Catharines class of 1956, a profession she deeply respected and loved. She was also a member of St. Johns Anglican Church in Jordan and enjoyed being of service and attending her church regularly. The family would like to thank all of the nursing staff and doctors on the 5th floor of the Niagara Health Center for their compassionate and excellent care. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at St. Johns Anglican Church in Jordan on Friday September 2nd . Visitation in the church will begin at 1pm with a service and internment to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of choice is appreciated by the family.
