COUTTS, David
Our dearest David, a long-time resident of St. Catharines, Ontario passed away, peacefully, on December 14th, 2022 at 82 years of age.
David is survived by his loving wife, Sharon, (nee Keeling) with whom he recently celebrated 59 years of matrimony; daughter Carrie (Brian) of Winnipeg, grandsons: Dominic (Marissa), Max (Kristyn), Dylan (Robyn) and Jacob; great-grandchildren: Scott "Scotty" and Evelyn; a very special brother of Charlie, Ann, Mary, Francis, Mike and Jean; many other extended family members that will miss him dearly, as well as the family of Bart and Karen Huisman. Predeceased by his son, Scott, (2011) and grandson, Tyler (2018).
Born on December 6th, 1940 in Toronto, he was one of nine siblings. On November 30, 1963 Dave and Sharon married and then relocated to Sault St. Marie where he worked in a funeral home. They relocated back to St. Catharines with their children, Carrie and Scott. He worked for many years at Thompson Products until retirement. They lived near Niagara-on-the-Lake, then Pinemeadow Place, and found new friends in his retirement when he and Sharon moved to Wood St. in North St. Catharines. Dave was always there to lend a helping hand, even if you didn't want one. He loved telling stories and would talk to anyone that would listen to him.
David was a very kind man with a beautiful heart, and for all of those who loved him, he will always be missed.
