Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by family at Westhills Care Centre. John was predeceased by his wife, Caroline (nee Sitar) in 2016, his infant brother, Jimmy, sister, Kyle, and his parents Donald and Isabel (nee Davidson). He was a step-father of Sean (Janet) and Morwen (Malcolm) Galway. Grandfather of Ryan (Ben), Sarah and Shannon Galway. John will be missed by his buddies with whom he spent time golfing and bowling along with Ernie & Al as they would often go to hockey games together. John was employed at General Motors from 1976 until his retirement in 2006. John will be missed by all that knew him. In honouring John’s wishes a private family service will be held.
