She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Rev. Martin and Jeanne Kaija (nee Reed). Julie devoted her life to her family and God. She demonstrated this daily to all her family and friends through her support and love. Active her whole life in the Lutheran Church she was a Sunday School teacher, Choir Member, Church Council Member, LAMP Volunteer, Haiti Lutheran Mission Society volunteer, and participated in many Ministry groups in the Lutheran Church. She graduated from Brock University with a degree in Community Health and put this knowledge to work tirelessly in supporting her community through many volunteer endeavors. She shared her love of painting, knitting, music, and baking with all her family, friends and many in the community. Due to Covid restrictions a memorial service will be held for immediate family only at Christ Lutheran Church. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association would be appreciated by the family.
