KUNSELMAN, Larry Clair
It is with great sadness that Larry's family announces his passing on February 23, 2021, peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital after a long illness. Larry is survived by his devoted wife and best friend Carole-Ann (Cae) (nee English) and his loving children: Kirk, Karin Peart (Bill) and Brett (Kim). His six granddaughters were the light of his life and he will be missed by Brianna, Samantha, Alex, Sarah, Kara and Abbey. Larry leaves behind his sister, Ming Henson and nephews: Rob and Chris and their families. Larry also will be missed by his cousins: Diane Sheehan and Don Heaton. He will be remembered by his extended family and many friends.
Larry was a true entrepreneur who, with wife Cae, founded Ontario Mobile Wash, Rent-A-Cruise of Canada and Konyor Properties. He was past president and a life member of The St. Catharines Business Club, Vice Commodore of Dalhousie Yacht Club and past president of Niagara Region Model Flying Club and Leader Member of MAAC.
Larry excelled at his many pastimes including boating, flying (both light aircraft and models), skiing, all water sports and motorhoming. He especially enjoyed tailgating at Buffalo Bills games and winters in Florida. Larry was always on board for a good party and time spent with family and friends.
In honouring Larry’s wishes cremation followed by a private family gathering has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Pathstone Mental Health or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
