Peacefully, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on February 14, 2023, Loretta passed away at 87 years of age. Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Sarah (nee Dueck) Martens, her siblings Frank, Anne, Rudy and Erwin Martens and her niece, Sandra Martens. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Doreen Martens (Jeff Taylor), Vern (Ruth) Martens, Evelyn (Tom) Gee, Laurie Anne (Keith) Antonson, Cathleen (Bret) Loge, Robert Martens, Richard Martens and Eileen Bradford. Loretta was affiliated with Cornerstone Community Church. In keeping with Loretta’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Loretta will be held in the Chapel of Radiant Care Pleasant Manor (15 Elden Street, Virgil, Ontario) on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144.
