Obituary for Mark Anthony Forgeron

FORGERON, Mark Anthony

Born October 30, 1956 in St. Catharines; passed surrounded by love on June 13th 2022. Mark leaves behind his wife, his person, Lynn (nee McLaughlin), children Bailey (Rachael) and Shaw (Katie). He is survived by his father, Valma, his mother, Lucille, brothers, Ken (Sharon), Stephen (Connie) and sister, Nicole (Chris), sister-in-law, Debra McLaughlin, nieces, Maggie Forgeron and Claire Forgeron, and nephews, Luc Forgeron (Laura), Zachary Gorman, Mitchell Gorman (Myranda), Alec Forgeron, Andrew Forgeron and Stephen Sigouin. Great-Uncle of Gigi Forgeron, Ellie Forgeron, Miller Gorman and Meadow-Mae Gorman.

Blessed with many gifts, Mark was a musician, a gifted singer, a master of wood craft, a brilliant teacher, a star chef, a florist with flair and our handyman. He cared for the earth, loved the great outdoors, a good book and was always up to date on the news. He was a gentle soul, who could lift your spirits with a smile and a kind word. He was a courageous stroke survivor, the strongest man we’ve known. He was unfailingly there for his family who were the center of his universe and a willing hand to his friends when needed. His many kindnesses will never be forgotten by those who were touched by his caring and he will be missed by all who knew him. We are forever grateful and will always celebrate how much better we are for having known him. Blessed by his love, today and for always.

Funeral mass will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 169 St. Paul Crescent, St. Catharines. Interment following at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate donations to Freeport Hospital https://grhf.ca/pages/ways-to-give or Innisfree House https://www.lisaardandinnisfree.com/ways-to-give/support-us/
