MURPHY, Michael William
1960-2022
After a brief illness, Michael passed away peacefully at the NHS – Welland Site on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, with his family at his side. Michael is survived by his partner and best friend, Joanne (nee Dostie), his daughters: Ashley (Marc), Nicole and Cori and grandchildren: Konnor, Grace and Ruby. He also leaves behind his brother, John (Brenda). He will be sadly missed by his best friend Brian (Lorrie) and many other cherished family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, William and Mary (nee Pittaway).
Michael was approaching retirement from his current position as a fuel truck driver. He will be remembered for being a private and kind person who also liked to have fun and spend quality time with his small circle of friends.
In honouring Michael’s wishes cremation and a private family service has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Niagara Health System Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
