INGRAM, Nancy Anne (formerly Praakel)
1964-2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Nancy announce her passing after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was a dedicated mother first & foremost; she treasured her children everyday; she especially loved her role as Nana. Nancy died as she lived with dignity & courage. She fought to stay with us with every little hope she could until God saw her getting tired, a cure not meant to be. She will always be remembered for her kindness and great heroic strength over the last two painful years. Her love of music, especially Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip, had a gentle calming effect on her. Nancy will be remembered for her great sense of humour and always following the “rules”. She will be missed by her beloved children Jamie (Kristy) Ingram, Olivia Smith and Victoria Praakel. Cherished Nana of Sophie Ingram, Amari & Imani Smith. Dear sister of Lorraine (Bill) Hoculik, Murray Ingram and Gail Wosley. Nancy was predeceased by her parents: Harry and Doreen Ingram and her siblings: Sharon Cline, Linda Ingram, Ronnie Ingram and her good friend Pam MacKenzie. A big thank you to the Angels of Hospice Niagara for their extraordinary care of Nancy.
