Nancy Waller-Bailey (née Jemmett)
Peacefully at Hotel Dieu Shaver in St. Catharines, on March 5, 2023, after a long journey with cancer. Beloved mother of David Shakespeare (Jodi Marleau) and Janet Dodd. Special Gran to Oscar, Violet and Paige. Sister of Beverley (Bruce Preston). She will be missed by her nephews, aunt and cousins, all their families and many lifelong friends. Predeceased by her parents Doris and Bob Jemmett.
The family would like to thank the kind staff at Hotel Dieu Shaver and Dr. Arvinte, who provided her care.
Nancy was proud of her career as a primary school teacher. To honour her legacy, donations are welcome to “Every Child Matters” (Orange Shirt Day), Elora Public School Library, Elora ON., and Parnall Public School Library, St. Catharines ON. Cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life will be held later.
