Obituary for Reginald Walter Julie

JULIE, Reginald Walter

Peacefully, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, on Sunday, April 17, 2022, Reg Julie passed away at 75 years of age. Beloved husband of Linda. Loved like a father by Bradley Morningstar (Heather), Tyler Morningstar (Miriam), Jeffrey Morningstar and Stevie. Cherished grandfather (aka Grumpa) of Daisey, Grayson, Rhyland and Nina. Dear brother of Rose and the late Nick and brother-in-law of Jeanette. Loyal friend of many who he considered family. Mr. Julie was a well-loved geography teacher at Fort Erie Secondary School. He may or may not have thrown a textbook at you in your time there. He was a very devoted fan of the Detroit Red Wings. Reg's Red Wings decked-out truck could have led a parade and coming up with a Christmas present for him was never a problem. He had an incredible talent for wood carving and shared this gift by teaching others to carve. This talent also caused his family members to fight over which carvings they wanted to take home each time they visited. A Celebration of Life for Reg will be held at a later date where the red wine will flow and the memories will help us all to smile again. Anyone who knew Reg knows he was one of a kind. There will never be another and we will forever miss him so much. Donations to the Fort Erie SPCA would be appreciated by the family. In keeping with Reg’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144. Online condolences may be made at CCBSCares.ca
