Passed away, peacefully, on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the age of 87. Cherished husband of Linda (nee Kalls) for sixty-seven years. Dearly loved father of Mark (Debbie), Karen (the late Brian), Greg (Lori) and Paul (Tiffany). Proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers: John (Jane) and Glen (Jan). Robert started his business in 1967 operating Robert A. Johnson Insurance Brokerage for many years and finished his career as Vice President of Sheehan and Rosie. He was a proud member of his church choir, Chapel Singers and spoke often of his time with Doctors Without Borders. He loved golf, fishing and time at the cottage. In honouring Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on January 3, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Silver Spire United Church, 366 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines. The service will be live streamed (www.silverspire.ca) Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated.
