Peacefully, after a brief illness at Hospice Niagara on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 88 years of age. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Hampton) for 48 years. Loving father of Michael (Christine) & Jacklyn (David Pape). Wonderful Grandpa of Daniel & Melanie. Bob was predeceased by his siblings June & Don. Survived by his brother-in-law Windsor Corney, several nieces, nephews and their families. Bob entered the world of radio broadcasting as a teenager in P.E.I. and gained over 30 years experience at 610 CKTB Radio prior to teaching his craft at Niagara College for 9 years. In honouring Bob’s wishes a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Silver Spire United Church, 366 St. Paul Street, where he was a member and a Trustee. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and volunteers of Hospice Niagara who gave Bob, Jean and Michael such loving and compassionate care.
