Obituary for Robert William Wesley Marshall

MARSHALL, Robert

" The Last Stop "

It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Robert (Bobby) Marshall age 79 passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family Thursday Evening January 6th. Robert was born September 28th 1942 in St Catharines On.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Marlene, son Scott (Christine) 2 Grandchildren Megan (Pat) and Evan. 2 Great grandchildren Myles and Hazel. Robert drove trucks for over 50 years driving his own unique 1954 and 1949 Bull Nose Kenworth clear across North America and back. Bobby had passion and pride in his antique trucks aside from his Kenworth- His collection included a 1912 Model T Ford and a 1931 AC Chain driven Mack Truck. Bobby put up a valiant fight with cancer right till the end. Bobby spent his life doing what he loved best driving his antiques cross country to various car and truck shows and getting the opportunity to see the many friends he had encountered along the way. If you saw his Kenworth rolling down the highway you knew it was Bobby M without a doubt. He will be remembered as the man who got the job done no matter what happened along the way. There was no obstacle this man could not overcome and certainly no address he could not find and that was without a map needed and for sure no GPS! We are going to miss you oh so much. Time to park the truck and call it a day. ALL OUR LOVE.
In honouring Bobby’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144. Online condolences may be made at CCBSCares.ca
