HOWELL, Russell Bernard
Russell went home on Sunday, March 20th, 2022. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Tammy Lynn Howell (William), son, Shawn Timothy Howell, granddaughter, Nicole Noel Eklund (Jeremy), great grandson, Colter Joseph Eklund, dear friend, Thelma DesRoches (Robin), many friends and family. Now joined at home with his mother, Mary, and father, Henry, brothers; Gilbert (Marilyn) and Clifton. Survived by his sister-in-law, Dorothy. Russ retired from the Region of Niagara where he enjoyed a long career as Manager of Fleet Services. He was very active throughout life with gardening, hiking, cycling, fishing, hunting and woodworking. He shared his love of the outdoors with his children and that love of nature is being passed on to his second and third generation. Russ will always be remembered for his great sense of humour, touching the hearts of people he has met and always willing to help out family and friends.
