Obituary for Scott Christopher Jackson

JACKSON, Scott Christopher

It is with profound sadness that the family of Scott Christopher Jackson announce his sudden passing on March 27, 2022 at the age of 63. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 30 years, Cindy, and his children: Monica (25) and Jared (22). Scott’s relationship with Jesus and with the people he loved were the most important parts of his life. He wanted people to know that the best thing about him was that he was a born-again Christian. His big heart made him a genius for gift-giving. He also had a great sense of humour; he loved to make people laugh and charmed everyone wherever he went. Scott loved hockey, music, his Saab and his dogs. But more importantly, he was his kids’ biggest fan; whether watching Jared play ball hockey or admiring Monica’s artwork, he gave them his adoration and support. Scott will be greatly missed by his brothers: Paul (Cathy) and Robert (Chris); nephews: Matthew (Tanya), Rob (Angie), Jason (Ingrid), Ryan (Jen) and Jonathan; niece, Courtney and many more in the Schiebel and Magnus families. Visitation from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at Parkwood Gardens Community Church (501 Whitelaw Rd, Guelph, N1K 1E7) at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022; reception to follow. Another visitation will take place from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm in St. Catharines on Saturday, April 9th, 2022, at Bethany Community Church (1388 Third Street Louth, St. Catharines, L2R 6P9). Memorial donations to Scott's favourite charity Seeds of Hope Children’s Ministries at https://seedsofhopecm.com/ would be greatly appreciated. In keeping with Scott’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144. Online condolences may be made at CCBSCares.ca
