It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry on February 14, 2021 at the age of 62. Loving husband, best friend and travel companion of Simone (nee Vuyk) for 42 years. Cherished father of Holly (Andrew) Muir and Steve (Nicole) Patrick. Dear Boompa of Emelia and Maxwell Muir and Cole and Eve Patrick. Dear son of Marie and Harry Patrick, predeceased. Son-in-law of Jan and Henny Vuyk. Survived by his siblings Shirley Hardie and Rick (Doris) Patrick. Predeceased by his sister Kathy Jansen and brother Tom Patrick. Fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law George Jansen, Marlo Vuyk (Peter Massar) and Henk Vuyk. He was a loved uncle to many surviving nieces and nephews. Terry was a squirrel enthusiast and was predeceased by his beloved pet, Conky the Degu. Terry found joy in everything he did, whether it was watching his favorite movie “Slapshot”, sitting poolside at his home enjoying family gatherings or travelling to Myrtle Beach. Terry retired from General Motors in December 2020 after 30 years of dedicated service. His family gives special thanks for the compassionate care provided by St. Catharines Walker Cancer Center and the home nurses from Care Partners. There will be a private ceremony and burial for immediate family. A celebration of life will follow at a later date. In honouring Terry’s wishes cremation has taken place.
