Obituary for Timothy "Tim" William Moses

MOSES, Timothy “Tim” William 1951-2023

With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Timothy “Tim” William Moses at the NHS – Niagara Falls, on March 22, 2023. Devoted soulmate to Theresa “Terry” (nee Nowacki) of 48 years. Loving father of Evan (Sylvia). Dear brother of Janice (Frank Barretto). He will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law, Mary Smith (Larry), brother-in-law, John Nowacki (Fran), as well as his nieces and nephews; Kati Barretto, Jessie Barretto, Will Barretto, Jim McNarry, Colleen Wilson (Alan), Mike McNarry (Carolyn), Kristin Smith, and Trisha Smith. Predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret (nee Cook) Moses, and his sister-in-law, Irene McNarry (the late Jim McNarry).

Tim graduated from Niagara College where he studied Radio & Television Broadcasting. Tim worked as a cameraman for 41 years mainly with CHCH, GLOBAL Television and TSN and loved every minute of his 4 decades behind the lens. He always said, “if you loved what you were doing, you never worked a day in your life!” After retiring from TSN in 2015, Tim and Terry moved to Ridgeway, to their piece of Heaven with a pond in the forest. Even after retiring, he continued to work as a volunteer cameraman for Cogeco Niagara Falls. Mainly, Tim could be found at the corner of the rink with his camera on his shoulder at the Niagara Ice Dogs Game.

In accordance with Tim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-5 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Stamford Lane United Church, 3855 St. Peter Avenue, Niagara Falls. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Ontario, would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144. Online condolences may be made at CCBSCares.ca
