WILSON, Vera Audrey
Passed away, peacefully, on May 13, 2022, at The St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 94 after a brief illness. She has gone to be with her late husband, John. Vera was born in Morden, Surrey, England. She married John, who was in the Canadian Military, in England and came to Canada as an English “War Bride”. Predeceased by her husband John, sister Olive, daughter Linda, son Russell and daughter-in-law Lynda. Vera leaves behind her son David (Pam) Wilson and son-in-law, John Hamilton. Cherished grandmother of Jeffery (Joanna) Wilson, Michael (Christie) Wilson, Jamie (Brooke) Hamilton, Carrie Hamilton and Cameron (Kristie) Wilson. Loving great-grandmother of 7. Our family would like to thank the staff on Floor 3B at the St. Catharines General for their care and compassion. Thank you to Vera’s friends and neighbors, especially Sharon Hollowell for her friendship and kindness. In honouring Vera’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
