1936 -2022
William passed away peacefully in his sleep at Garden City Manor Wednesday, January 5th 2022. Predeceased by the love of his life, Sandra (nee Carley). Survived by his three children, Sherry Jaschke (Rainer) Bradley Alan (Jane) and Elizabeth Cooper (Sam) ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Brother of Celia Longley, predeceased sisters; Dorothy, Evelyn and Betty. William was a long-time employee of the former Lightning Fastner and Alcan Aluminum Industries until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and a friend to many. William was known for his love of fishing, guitar playing and his ability to deliver daily humor. Special thank you to the staff at Garden City Manor who exhibited great compassion and care which made William feel loved and comforted. A graveside celebration of life will take place at a later date.
