It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful man on April 7, 2022. He will be dearly missed by Cheryl Balcom. Cherished father of Mandy (Reggie) Ouellette, Danny (Alicia) Lewis and Brody Lewis. Fondly remembered by Cheryl’s children Ryan (Kyla), Kenzee (JP) and Kelsey (Cody). Fun loving Grandpa of Logan, Cam, Brantley, Parker, Maddox, Maeve, Lennox, Everett and Brie. Loving brother of Carol (Jeff) and Sheryl. Forever remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. He had a lifelong friendship with Neil and Anne Rutherford. Ted was a family man who always prioritized and cared for others. Providing for and supporting his family and friends is what filled his heart the most. To those closest to him he was a dependable, hard working, selfless and a pillar of strength. Ted was known for many things, his deep love and knowledge of music, movies and T.V. shows. His amazing although often inappropriate sense of humour. He was a fantastic athlete who played and coached sports his whole life. He had an incredible memory of his own life, his family and friends, experiences, world events, he was intelligent, considerate and he always had a story to tell. Above all, he loved being on the lake; whether boating, fishing or just relaxing while parked at the dock, the lake was always Ted’s true love. It’s where he could be himself and where he found peace. Ted will be missed by so many and eternally loved and remembered by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Edelweiss Tavern, 600 Doon Village Road, Kitchener, on Sunday, June 12th from 3-6 pm. Ted’s family would like to thank Grimsby Hyundai for the generous donations that will be going towards honouring Ted’s Life.
